DARRYL STRAWBERRY
MAJOR LEAGUE
BASEBALL PLAYER
Darryl shares about how he came from a difficult background with an abusive father. To prove his worth, he channeled all as energy into baseball. Amidst his baseball success, he became addicted to drugs and alcohol. Thankfully, after coming to know the Lord, he overcame his addiction. Also, God led him to revive his relationship with his earthly father.

During his career, he helped lead the New York Mets to a World Series championship in 1986 and the New York Yankees to three World Series championships in 1996, 1998 and 1999. He was also suspended three times by MLB for substance abuse, but God used these low points in Darryl's life to bring him to Himself.
